The Ropes – Be My Gun
So I’m over at Hype Machine updating my playlist and I come across this band out of NYC called The Ropes. I click the little play button by their song “Be My Gun” and I am officially hooked.
The Ropes consist of Sharon Shy on lead vocals/bass and Toppy who plays drums with a guitar around his neck. They’ve opened for bands like The Used, InnerPartySystem and more. To sum it up, if you listen to this band you will become a bit more hip than you were before and your iPod will seem a little sleeker than before.
