Sunday, May 31st, 2009

See that guy up there? The heavy set, bare-skinned, bearded bleeding guy? That's Damian Abraham aka Pink Eyes from the band Fucked Up. He's also your newest commentator on Fox News. WTF?!
It turns out that this is no surprise being that Damian has actually appeared on Fox News a few times on their late night show Red Eye (which airs at 2am...or 3am. I'm not really sure. I don't watch the show.) For those of you that don't know… Read More

Harvey Danger is done

Sunday, May 31st, 2009

"After 15 years, three albums, hundreds of shows, and far more twists and turns than we ever imagined possible, we've decided to put Harvey Danger to rest."
That was the opening line on the most recent blog post by 90's rock band Harvey Danger. Personally I had no idea they were still around. But it turns out the band had still been making music and even released their last album, Little by Little..., as a free download. The band made their… Read More

An online post on Weezer's website has suggested that a new album from Rivers & Co. might come out this year. The post says that the band worked with producer Jackknife Lee and the songs were mixed in March of '09.
There is no release date and the Weez say… Read More

On May 28th at the Primavera Festival, Wavves was supposed to take the stage at 2:20… Read More

Band of the Week

Friday, May 29th, 2009

The Rock it Out! Band of the Week is from Texas and they are called Aliens. It was very cool to have them play the Rock it Out! His DJ, DJ Highpriest, had a baby 13 hours before the show and couldn't be there but Blake still put on a great set.
Head on over to their Myspace page to check out their music, videos… Read More
