Animal Collective – Summertime Clothes
Animal Collective, 2009 indie rock darlings, recently made an appearance on David Letterman playing the song “Summertime Clothes” from their album Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Now while many in the indie/hipster community are pulling for this song to be the feel good hit of the summer, my guess is that the tween set will not have it. I can hear them now:
“Oh my God what is this? This is supposed to be music?! I want my Kelly Clarkson CD.”
Ah children. They just don’t know a good thing when it comes along.
