Spinal Tap – Back from the Dead

Spinal Tap have returned to music since their last album release back in 1992. So it’s only fitting that they would release a song called “Back From The Dead” from their upcoming album Back From The Dead which you can hear by clicking on the band’s photo.
David St. Huffins, Nigel Tufnel and Derek Smalls (Michael McKean, Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer) will be releasing the Tap’s new album on June 16th of this year and it’s a monster of an album. There are 19 tracks including the songs “Hell Hole”, “Big Bottom”, “Celtic Blues” and “Rock N’ Roll Nightmare” and features guests on the record including John Mayer, Steve Vai and Def Leppard’s Phil Collen.
In addition to releasing the album, Tap will play a one night world tour at Wembley Arena in London on June 30th. And the reason for all this Spinal Tap mania? It’s the 25th anniversary of the mockumentary rock stars. Derek Smalls (Shearer) said the 25th anniversary meant “we should probably do it again. There were still a lot of Spinal Tap songs that had never been recorded.”
