Pearl Jam bassist robbed
Jeff Ament, bassist for Pearl Jam, was robbed and assaulted in Atlanta, GA on April 27th outside the Southern Tracks studio where the band is working on their new album.
Ament and a band employee were assaulted by three men wearing black ski masks and were carrying knives. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Ament was robbed of $3,000, his passport and $4,320 worth of goods according to the police report. Ament tried to run from the attackers but was knocked down and suffered a cut to his head that, luckily, required no trip to the hospital.
So far there have been no arrests made. Yet we demand justice! Is there no decency? And I thought southern people had the better manners.
