Weezer + Blink-182 = Summer!

It’s like some rock god decided to be really nice to us lowly fans down here on this earthly plane. First we got the return of No Doubt and their summer tour. Then we got the NIN/JA tour which is Jane’s Addiction and Nine Inch Nails on the same stage. Now we get the power-punk-pop-rock sandwich that is Weezer and Blink-182 going on tour this summer!
According to the latest issue of Rolling Stone, the two bands along with Fall Out Boy will start their summer trek on June 24th.
Now I know some of you will be like “Why is Fall Out Boy involved? That’s just stupid.” Well before you go judging like you’re some kind of judge think about it for a second. You have FOB who, whether you like it or not, have been one of the biggest selling rock groups in recent history. Plus when you combine that with the power of Weezer, who are our nerd-rock heroes, and then throw in the sensational sounds of Blink-182 (who wouldn’t want to hear “Rock Show” on a massive stage?) and you get a concert that should be dubbed the FTW tour.
No dates have been announced yet but they shouldn’t be too far off.
