Dave Gahan is still sick
Depeche Mode lead singer Dave Gahan is still battling with severe gastroenteritis (aka really bad stomach flu) so the band has continued to cancel their shows throughout Europe.
Gahan first came down with the bug right before a show in Greece and has been ill ever since. So far Depeche Mode has canceled shows in Greece, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Croatia. And yesterday on their website the band announced that three more shows would have to be canceled in the countries of Poland, Latvia and Lithuania. That’s nine shows altogether.
The band’s next stop is May 30th at the O2 arena in London, England which should be one of their bigger shows on this tour. Here’s hoping that Dave gets better soon.
