Jimmy Page Amp = $30,000

This 1971 200-watt Orange MATAMP was recently sold on eBay to the tune of $30,000 according to Gibson’s website. Now why would this amp go for more than I make in a year? Because it belonged to the legendary Axe Man of Led Zeppelin (and my stoner man-crush) Jimmy Page.

The amp was advertised on eBay as “used on the 1971 world tour and subsequent recordings, and can be seen in various stage photos as late as October 1973.” Page’s amp was purchased by the winning bidder (whose identity was not disclosed) at 12pm est. I hope the guy doesn’t think buying the amp will make him play like Jimmy Page. That only happens in movies, bro.
