Phil Spector sentenced

Phil Spector, the legendary producer known for the “Wall of Sound” recording style he used with bands including The Ronettes and who produced albums for The Beatles and The Ramones, received his sentence of 19 years to life in prison for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
This was the sentencing for Spector’s second trial in the case and he was denied a request for a new trial by Judge Larry Fidler, according to the Los Angeles Times. In addition to the prison sentence, Spector was also ordered to pay $17,000 to cover Lana’s funeral expenses. Spector’s first trial ended in a hung jury and a mistrial back in September of 2007.
Personally I think he should have been convicted for that hair. Guilty as charged, Your Honor!
