The new Fucked Up Fox News commentator
See that guy up there? The heavy set, bare-skinned, bearded bleeding guy? That’s Damian Abraham aka Pink Eyes from the band Fucked Up. He’s also your newest commentator on Fox News. WTF?!
It turns out that this is no surprise being that Damian has actually appeared on Fox News a few times on their late night show Red Eye (which airs at 2am…or 3am. I’m not really sure. I don’t watch the show.) For those of you that don’t know the show, Red Eye is a late night talk show where people on Fox News actually get to let loose and talk about what they want.
Fucked Up are a hardcore/punk band from Toronto, Ontario Canada that are known for ridiculous (and usually bloody) live shows and fast songs. Greg Gutfeld, the host of Red Eye, is a big fan of Fucked Up and has had Abraham on the show twice (the first time, Abraham wore an Obama t-shirt which Fox News happily covered with a lower third throughout the entire interview).
Pitchfork reports that Abraham will be on the show one to three times a month as a “gender expert” since he majored in women’s studies (not joking). Check out the video below of Abraham’s first appearance on Red Eye.
