The newest installment in the Guitar Hero series will hit shelves on September 1st, 2009. Guitar Hero 5 (did they even make Guitar Hero 4?) will feature over 85 master recordings from bands including Santana, Kings of Leon, A Perfect Circle, Queen & David Bowie and Sonic Youth to name a few.

Dave Gahan’s bladder tumor

So it turns out that Dave Gahan's gastroenteritis that he's been suffering from turned out to have an added bonus.
Gahan recently had a malignant tumor removed from his bladder and is currently on bed rest until June 8th when the Mode picks up their Sounds of the Universe tour in Leipzig, Germany. The band will announce the rescheduling of their shows that have been canceled next week.

Meg White, drummer of The White Stripes, recently tied the knot in a small wedding ceremony held in Jack White's backyard in Nashville, TN.
