Arctic Monkeys reveal their new album

Arctic Monkeys are making it known that their new album is a step in a different direction. Having cited Black Sabbath as a main influence for this recording and then having Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age produce the LP, we could be in for a much heavier, stoner sounding group.
Pitchfork reported that the band revealed their tracklisting for their still untitled record which you can see below. The record comes out on August 25th in the U.S. and August 24th in Europe.
01) My Propeller
02) Crying Lightning
03) Dangerous Animals
04) Secret Door
05) Potion Approaching
06) Fire and the Thud
07) Cornerstone
08) Dance Little Liar
09) Pretty Visitors
10) The Jeweller’s Hands
“Crying Lightning” was actually first played by the band for the public at the Big Day Out Festival in Sydney, Australia back in January of this year. It’s definitely not the same jumpy, fast and sporadic sound that we’re used to from the Sheffield quartet. You can see the band play “Crying Lightning” below.
