Kings of Leon – Use Somebody
So the MTV Movie Awards were on last night (and I didn’t watch. Deadliest Warrior was on. IRA vs. Taliban. So brutal.)
And I guess there were some highlights on the show. Like people from Twilight winning awards. MTV reality stars hating each other and thinking they’re really famous. Kids wanting to see Twilight stars kiss. A Twilight sequel trailer. Basically if you watched the “award ceremony” your brain is probably going to be numb for three days.
Luckily the one part of the show that did indeed rock was the Kings of Leon performing their song “Use Somebody” from their amazing album Only By The Night. This performance was actually the Kings first live appearance on the former music channel and I’m guessing the chatter during their song went along the lines of “Who are these guys? Didn’t they have that fire sex song? Omigod I’ve loved these guys foreverrrr! You think this song is in the new Twilight movie?!”
Ah teenagers. One day they’ll look back and realize they were dumb as shit. Oh really quick before I stop writing. Bruno’s balls were on Eminem’s chin. Watch the video below.
