Pete Doherty caught with drugs on a plane
And just when you thought Pete Doherty had cleaned up his act, the Babyshambles lead singer goes and does something like this.
Spin.com is reporting that Doherty was on a British Airways flight to Geneva and went to the bathroom. 25 minutes later the announcement was made that the plane was ready for landing and he was still inside the lavatory. A passenger on the flight said that “the crew knocked on the door but Pete didn’t come out.
They eventually managed to get in 10 minutes before the plane landed”.
Doherty was slumped in the toilet. It was also alleged that a member of the crew found a hypodermic needle in the bathroom and alerted the captain who alerted Geneva police.
A spokesman for the police said that Doherty “was charged but I cannot say what with. He paid a fine and was allowed to go.”
Doherty went on to play at the Neuchatel Open Air music festival later that day.
