Alice In Chains names new album, set release date



We just found out here at the RiO!B that Alice In Chains has revealed their new album title and the release date for that album!

AIC’s new record is called Black Gives Way To Blue and it will be released on September 29th. This news is coming only a few days after the band announced that they were signing with EMI’s Virgin Records to distribute the album.

Now while this is good news we can only hope that the record will live up to the hype that it undoubtedly will cause throughout the next few months. Because the last thing we need is another build up to an epic album only to have it fizzle out once it actually hit Best Buy with no fanfare after we waited 17 years for a meh record. Not that I’m talking about any band in particular.
