CNN covers Satriani vs. Coldplay
I thought this issue was kind of old news by now but apparently the people over at CNN just discovered what the Rock it Out! Blog reported on months ago. Did Coldplay steal from Joe Satriani? Is “Viva La Vida” actually Satriani’s “If I Could Fly”?
CNN decides to do some investigative journalism by heading to YouTube and checking out all the mashups that have been done and featured a video of a Canadian guitar teacher. My guess is it was a slow news day for them. Although this would have been cooler had it been featured in The Situation Room. Because if Wolf Blitzer reports it then clearly it’s a serious issue.
