Bonnaroo cleaning crew finds dead body

There are certain things you plan to see when you head down to Bonnaroo. Amazing bands, kids that are on way too many drugs, a drum circle and that one guy who always says last year’s festival was better. Something you don’t expect to come across? A corpse.

According to Rolling Stone (via the Shelbyville Times-Gazette) a dead body was found on Tuesday in his tent by the cleaning crew. The body was of a man in his 20′s. Police are still awaiting the results of the autopsy. Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves has said that the man was last seen alive on Monday around 3 p.m. and that he may be from Alabama. He’s not sure whether he was a worker or just someone lingering about the grounds.

This marks the seventh death in Bonnaroo’s eight years of being a festival. Other deaths have happened in a few other ways. One worker was thrown from a truck. One person was hit by Ricky Skaggs’ tour bus. Two died from drug overdoses and one died from sleep apnea.
