New music from Blur?

Not only is Blur reuniting this summer for concerts but we may possibly get a brand new album from them according to an interview with the BBC.

The guys have been jamming at rehearsals and bassist Alex James talked about how they start creating new songs. “Damon will be jangling along with some chords and I’ll start banging along and you’ll [Coxon] join. Our musical cup overflow-eth at the moment. It’s all good.”

But don’t start jumping for joy just yet. Guitarist Graham Coxon had this to say about the band’s current activities. “We really don’t want to put ourselves under any pressure. I think we want to have fun with these gigs and then we’ll think about that really.”
