Green Day have released the music video for their new single “21 Guns” from their new album 21st Century Breakdown.
Bullets fly in this clip as the band plays in a small living room while we also see the main characters of the album, Christian and Gloria, cowering in fear as the bullets tear into the room. But as the video rolls on we see them relinquish their fear and make their way to the middle of the room and kiss. The scene looks quite similar to the album cover art.
You’ll also notice a fourth member of Green Day in this video. It’s Jason White, the band’s touring guitarist, helping out on lead guitar duties. The video was directed by Mark Webb who was made videos for Weezer and My Chemical Romance. He makes his feature film debut this summer with the film (500) Days of Summer.
