Eagle and Talon – Ice Life
Homework time, rocker nation. Above is the video for the song “Ice Life” from the female duo Eagle and Talon out of Los Angeles, CA. They’ve just released a new album called Thracian and it’s available on iTunes and in stores. Your homework is to familiarize yourself with this band because I’m headed to NYC to interview them today.
Kim and Alice Talon have been getting a lot of comparisons to bands like The Breeders and Sleater-Kinney. Kim’s voice may be sweet to listen to but being backed by that trash punk sound makes you wonder exactly what kind of music you’re listening to. Not to mention when a band employs Casio keyboards in their sound you know it’s going to be a fun listen.
