Josh Homme teaming up with Mike Patton from Faith No More?
As if Josh Homme isn’t busy enough with his new supergroup with Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones, he now wants to team up with Faith No More frontman Mike Patton to work on a new project.
Kerrang reports (via MetalHammer) CEO of Ipecac records Greg Werckman told Rock-A-Rolla magazine about the possible collaboration. “Josh has got a new top secret project that he’s working on right now. He’s trying to get a lot of people involved in it, too, as a matter of fact he’s trying to convince Mike Patton to go out to the desert but Mike hates the desert.”
Josh may do his best work in the desert. He just finished working on the new album from Arctic Monkeys at his desert studio. Maybe the desert is the hot spot (no pun intended) to get work done. I bet if I had a desert home, this blog would be the greatest thing ever.
