Nine Inch Nails isn’t done yet!

Trent Reznor must have heard my impassioned plea not to finish touring until I’ve seen them in concert because I just read the coolest news of the day. Nine Inch Nails will tour one more time in the U.S.

Pitchfork (via nin.com) has just reported that Trent Reznor and crew will be playing intimate shows at small and medium venues in NYC, Chicago and L.A. starting on August 22nd. Trent wrote on his website that “These should be cool, unusual and unique shows and I hope you come out – this is it.” There’s been no word on tickets or official dates yet.

The venues in NYC will be the Bowery Ballroom (which only holds 550 people. That’s gonna be the hot NYC ticket), Terminal 5 and Webster Hall. In Chicago, NIN will hit up the Aragon Ballroom and L.A. will see them at the Wiltern, The Henry Fonda, The Palladium and The Echoplex. There’s also a chance you guys in Toronto will get to see them as they may headline the V-Fest which happens on August 29th and 30th.

Openers for Nine Inch Nails in NYC will be The Horrors and Mew. Mew will also be joining them in L.A. and Chicago. Pitchfork is also reporting that Trent has promised “longer set-lists, possible special guests, cool openers, and other surprises.” I am sooooooo getting tickets for this tour!
