The Cribs – We Were Aborted
It seems as if anything Johnny Marr plays on turns to gold. Examples? The Smiths, Modest Mouse and now The Cribs.
Ryan, Ross and Gary Jarman are the British punk trio that comprises The Cribs and they have opened their arms to welcome their fourth member Johnny Marr. As a quartet now, they are releasing their album Ignore The Ignorant and offer up a song called “We Were Aborted” for download. If you head over to this website, you can get the song for free until July 8th.
The album itself is expected to make a U.S. release in late 2009 or early 2010. But the Brits get it this year on September 7th. Check out the song below and rock out to Marr’s awesome (as always) riffs.
