“So Jack White and Alison Mosshart meet in a field with machine guns, right?”

Sounds like an opening line to an amazing story. Or in this case the description of The Dead Weather’s first music video for their song “Treat Me Like Your Mother” from their debut album Horehound.

It’s a pretty cool video. Mosshart and White go at it with machine guns at almost point blank range while still singing on key and looking cool as hell (especially when Mosshart lights up mid-gunfight. Awesome.) The video premiered on Cinemax last night and it’s only the second time that the channel has premiered a music video.

Horehound comes out this Tuesday and you will buy the album. I’ve been talking about this band for a while now so if you’re not liking them as much as I am then we have nothing further to talk about. I said good day, sir!
