Free Dead Weather show in NYC!
I know, I know. We should call this blog The Dead Weather! Blog with all the updates we’ve had on them. Can we help it if they continue to do amazing things? Especially in NYC?
Case in point, they’re playing a free show this Thursday at Noon PM (via BrooklynVegan). It’s a first come, first serve show and only 100 bracelets will be given out. The show will be at 131 Chrystie Street (between Broome and Delancey) and will also be a Third Man Records store for the 16th and 17th of this month. You’ll be able to buy Third Man Records releases including TDW’s debut album Horehound.
The shows at Terminal 5 this Thursday and Friday are already sold out so if you don’t have a ticket then this may be your last opportunity if you’re a New Yorker. Although we recommend you get there early. There’s a lot of hipsters on the Lower East Side that will happily show up before dawn just to say they went to an exclusive Jack White show. I may have to camp out for this one. Anyone wanna join me?
