Julian Casablancas readies his solo album
All the members of the Strokes have had their solo moments. Albert Hammond Jr. has released two albums under his name, Fabrizio Moretti had Little Joy and Nikolai Fraiture had Nickel Eye. What about their fearless leader Julian Casablancas? Where’s his moment in the sun? Ask and you shall receive.
Casablancas will release his solo album, Phrazes for the Young, later this fall. The album was recorded last year in New York, L.A. and Nebraska. There is a website for the album but the only thing you’ll see there is the video down below.
As for the Strokes fans that have been holding their breath for a new album from the band? I hope you’ve got amazing lung capacity.
