Aerosmith is Old

Now don’t get upset. I’m just stating an actual fact. I’m not denying that they are one of America’s favorite bands. They’ve given us many songs to remember them by and a ton of incredible live shows…but these guys are falling apart in front of us.
First it was guitarist Brad Whitford who missed the first few dates of the tour due to hitting his head on his Ferrari so hard he required surgery for it. Then it was lead singer Steven Tyler’s turn. He strained a leg muscle at a show at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT which required the band to miss a few dates.
Now bass player Tom Hamilton will miss dates on the road because he needs to get a “non-invasive surgery” according to the press release. David Hull, a member of the Joe Perry Project, will fill in for Hamilton while he recovers.
It’s becoming dangerous to be in this band. I think they’ll call it quits when Joe Perry goes down. If you are someone who missed an Aerosmith show due to these injuries, head on over to the band’s website to see an updated schedule.
