Weezer teaches you how to play music
Weezer fans! If you’ve always wanted to learn how to play songs from the band themselves then look no further than the video up top.
The band played a series of Hootenannys throughout the month of June along the West Coast and invited everyone to come out and jam with them for radio station recordings. Songs that were played were Weezer classics “Island in the Sun”, “El Scorcho”, “Say it Ain’t So” and “Beverly Hills”. They also teach you their newest classic “Pork and Beans”. They also teach you one cover song which happens to be one of my absolute favorites and that’s “Creep” by Radiohead.
Watch the video, learn the songs, play them at a party and watch all the ladies flock to your side as you serenade them with 90′s alt-rock staples. But if those are the only songs that you know, then I recommend you just play Beverly Hills and walk away. It’ll be a much cooler move.
