Yeah Yeah Yeahs replacing Beasties at Lollapalooza
Due to the recent announcement by Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys that he has cancer and needs surgery to remove it, the boys have canceled all of their remaining tour dates. Which means someone is going to have to step in and take their place at the festival shows. Enter NY band the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
YYY will play on August 8th during the Chicago super-festival Lollapalooza, according to Time Out Chicago. So if you’re at Lolla this year, you’re still getting a great deal. I highly recommend you check out their set. It’s always interesting and always a good time.
