Jay-Z invites MGMT for The Blueprint 3

Jay-Z is from Brooklyn. MGMT are from Brooklyn. So it only makes sense that they would collaborate, right? Well according to an article from Reuters that collaboration is indeed happening.

Jay-Z’s upcoming album, Blueprint 3, is coming out on September 11th and artists like MGMT, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Rihanna and more will be featured on the album. This isn’t the first time that MGMT has been involved in hip-hop. Their song “Electric Feel” was remixed by rapper Jim Jones which you can check out here.

UPDATE: Jay-Z has just been announced as the replacement for the Beastie Boys at All Points West on July 31st. This will be Hova’s first American festival he plays. So we lose the Beasties but gain the C.E.O. of the R.O.C.? Sounds like a plan!
