Mariachi El Bronx – Quinceniera
Prepare yourselves to see a side of punk band The Bronx that you’ve never seen before…because you may like it a bit too much.
The Bronx has decided to embrace their southern california-ness to the fullest by creating Mariachi El Bronx which is a full on, 100% mariachi band. They don’t fuse punk music to it at all. They do mariachi music down to the wardrobe. The lead singer of the band, Matt, even talked about Mariachi El Bronx in the interview that I did with him a couple months ago.
Mariachi El Bronx’s album will be coming out on August 25th and to give you a taste of what to expect from the record, you can check out one of their songs called “Quinceniera” down below. I play this song in rememberance of the Taco Bell dog who died yesterday. Yo Quiero Taco Bell and Yo Quiero Mariachi El Bronx. Ole!
