Muse – United States of Eurasia (+ Collateral Damage)
One of the more hotly anticipated albums of 2009 has to be Muse’s The Resistance which is in stores on September 15th. With its three part symphony and epic instrumentation, Muse is slowly becoming a popular band amongst the mainstream crowds. Plus opening for U2 doesn’t hurt either.
But something that Muse has been doing to lead up to the album release is a scavenger hunt. In certain parts of Europe, members of Muse’s website were told where certain “keys” could be found in order to unlock bits and pieces of one of the songs from the new album. Fans flocked around Europe and collected these keys and started placing the songs together. The end result is the song “United States of Eurasia (+ Collateral Damage)”.
The official video for the song isn’t the one up top but someone put all the pieces together so you could hear the song in its entirety. Push play and check out what you’re in for when the new record comes out. You can thank me later.
