Meet The Young Veins

The split up of Panic at the Disco left many younger fans of rock music in shambles. Guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker realized they no longer wanted to make the same music that singer Brendon Urie wanted to make so they packed up and left to create a new band and a new sound. Well we have that new sound and it’s called The Young Veins.
If you head on over to their Myspace page, you’ll be able to check out the one track they posted on their page called “Change”. The song definitely is a departure from the duo’s former work in Panic. It reminds me of The Beatles meeting up with Jack White. I actually like it. It’s got a 60′s vibe about it that just works well.
Hopefully the rest of their music follows this direction and they become very successful. Unlike Brendon who recently played an acoustic set at Comic-Con to a less than enthusiastic crowd. Panic just released a brand new song called “New Perspective” over at their Myspace page.
Is it just me or do the band’s new song titles have an air of finality about them?
