Parrot fronts Heavy Metal band…I couldn’t make this up.
I’ve witnessed many things in my life. Combination Pizza Hut/Taco Bells, the city of Detroit and a fish actually jumping into a man’s penis. But I now feel that my life has been bolstered by the fact that there is a band such as this that does indeed exist.
The name of the band is called Hatebeak and their lead singer goes by the name of Waldo. Waldo is a being with a screeching voice that absolutely fits the band’s hardcore sound. Waldo is also slightly taller than a newborn infant and has lovely plumage. Waldo, ladies and gentlemen, is a parrot. Waldo is the parrot lead singer of the hardcore band Hatebeak who IS signed to an indie label called Reptilian Records.
Up top you can check out the song “Feral Parrot”. The lyrics? They don’t need no stinkin’ lyrics when they have an avian creature “singing” for them. It’s all about Waldo’s raw screech. This must be addressed in a rock query tomorrow. Stay tuned.
