Paul McCartney – Great Day
I still haven’t seen the movie Funny People yet. Can any of you people who have seen it tell me if it’s funny?
While you’re doing that, check out the new song from Paul McCartney called “Great Day” that’s on the soundtrack to the movie. It’s a nice lil’ ditty that, at first listen, is a nice song to listen to so you can lift your spirits. Until you know what scene the song is used in. Turns out this song is used when Adam Sandler’s character finds out he doesn’t have long to live. Kinda gives it a new feel, doesn’t it?

This isn’t a new song… it’s quite old actually. You can hear Linda McCartney singing the backup vocals, plus Paul’s voice doesn’t sound worn like it is now. Still a great track though!
