Sick Puppies – You’re Going Down
Before we put up our exclusive interview with the band Sick Puppies, the video for their first single “You’re Going Down” debuted on Tuesday on MTV2 and MTVU and you can check it out up top.
For a song about fighting someone til they drop, the video kinda takes away from that element. Instead of a brawl you see kids involved in a water fight as lead singer Shim Moore sings lines like “With my fist in your face/and your face on the floor”. I guess it’s an interesting idea with what they did with the video but I would have loved to see a bit more aggressiveness.
Regardless, the song is great and so is their new album, Tri-Polar, which is in stores now. Get ready for the Sick Puppies interview coming very soon.
