Wolfmother – New Moon Rising
Wolfmother’s new single “New Moon Rising” from their upcoming album Cosmic Egg doesn’t make its radio and online debut until tomorrow. Well we happened to get our hands on it and you can check it out down below (courtesy of a recording off Triple J radio in Australia).
The song doesn’t have that heavy feel like “Joker & The Thief” or “Woman”. It’s more of a jangly, straight-forward rock song with the same soaring Andrew Stockdale vocals. With the addition of new members Ian Peres (bass/keyboards), Aidan Nemeth (guitar) and Dave Atkins (drums), we can only wonder what the rest of Wolfmother’s new material will sound like.
Cosmic Egg hits stores on October 9th.
