New Weezer leaks
Over the weekend, Weezer said on their Myspace blog that the name of their new single is called “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To” and that it was coming out on August 25th. Well I’m currently writing this at 11:22 pm EST on August 16th and down below is the brand new single from Rivers Cuomo and crew.
Apparently, thanks to our buddies at TwentyFourBit, we found out that a mishap from Walmart’s digital media department occured which made the song available for you to hear. But I’m glad it leaked because I heard it and I like it. A lot.
Check it out and let me know what you think. Good song or just another to throw off to the wayside? I think this would have been a great song for the summer.

Hm. This just isn’t the same Weezer they used to be. I mean they used to have all that screaming guitar, almost girl-like vocals. It was better way back then in my opinion. This might as well be Nickelback covering a Jet song. We need the old sound of Weezer back!
Nothing ever sounds the same anymore (with the exception of that new AIC song).
