Last night in London, Pearl Jam rocked the O2 arena with a mix of older and newer songs in front of a sold-out crowd. The show wrapped up PJ’s five date mini-tour throughout Europe. So to make this show a memorable one, the band debuted a brand new song from the upcoming album Backspacer called “Supersonic” which you can watch up top.

The song is short, coming in around two-and-a-half minutes, but it gets to the point quickly. It’s loud with a mean breakdown in the middle and Eddie Vedder’s vocals still kicking ass and taking names. It’s, yet, another reason to go and buy their album on September 20th. How many reasons is that now? Nine? Ten? Fifty? It doesn’t matter. Pick one of those reasons and use it to go buy the new record.
