Pearl Jam – The Fixer
A while back, when we first started hearing rumblings of new Pearl Jam, the band held a secret show in Seattle where they played one song and the whole thing was being filmed by Cameron Crowe. We then found out that it was a commercial for Target being that PJ’s new album Backspacer is being sold exclusively at the retail store on September 20th. Now we have footage (grainy footage with loud audio) of the video that was filmed and you can check it out up top.
If this is actually a commercial for Target, it makes it the best commercial for the store ever. It’s a live music video that essentially says “Hey, we’re Pearl Jam. Like our music? Well we have new music now and you should buy it here. Thanks!”
PJ officially kicked off their tour last night in Canada and, as Spin reports, Pearl Jam’s opening band was…Pearl Jam. They open for themselves as well? What can this band not do?

dude, the vid’s on itunes for free! pretty high quality too. just look up “the fixer” in the search bar and it has a music vid, but i can’t find just the single.
