Up top is the brand new music video from Alice in Chains for their first new single called “Check My Brain” from their upcoming album Black Gives Way To Blue which is in stores on September 29th.

Watching the music video I felt a bit empty. The entire clip is the band playing in front of warped images of Los Angeles. I understand the song is about California but after watching their “A Looking In View” video, I expected a lot more from the video that accompanies their first single. The song is still a good listen but I gotta call out AIC on the music video. Not their greatest showing.

Maybe I’m still bitter over the Bears losing last night. What do you guys think? Good video or a case of too much green screen?
