An update from Nashville
So I’m sitting in a McDonald’s in Nashville and using a free Internet connection…sounds like the opening to a bad joke, right? Well it turns out that’s what I’m doing as I write this post.
The hotel I’m staying at while in Music City is absolutely amazing. But you also have to pay for the wi-fi connection. I’m already too poor for my own good so to pay to connect to the digital world doesn’t make sense to me. So I made the trek to a nearby Mickey D’s to give you guys an update about the RiO!B in Tennessee.
In a few hours, I’ll be heading to Third Man Records with Johnny Firecloud from the terrific music website Antiquiet to get our private tour. It’s still a guess but I’m pretty sure our Willy Wonka will be none other than Jack White which is beyond intense. As to what else might happen during that tour is anybody’s guess. I’ll be sure not to touch any of the fizzy lifting drinks but I’m all over the snozberries. Willy Wonka joke. Anyone? Bueller?
I’ll be taking video of the whole thing, rock nation. As soon as the tour is over I’ll try to get it up on the site asap. Even if that means I have to come back to this McDonald’s, order myself a McFlurry and upload this mofo. You will get exclusive video of the tour. My promise to you.
