Trent Reznor & Gary Numan are recording together

It was a team-up that seemed unlikely at first yet managed to grow on people as it unfolded live before their eyes. I’m referring to the Trent Reznor/Gary Numan collaboration during NIN’s final shows in Los Angeles. Well from the looks of things, those two liked working together so much that they’re planning on recording a few songs together.
Numan spoke to The Quietus and said that even though Trent was done touring with Nine Inch Nails, he would still make music and work on other projects. “We went out a few days after [the LA gigs] with a few other people and the way he puts it is when the dust settles – I think he means his marriage – but I think he’s going to be pretty busy for a while, so it’ll either be later this year or early next.”
As to whether their collaborative effort would be a full album or just a few songs, Numan said “Probably just a few songs to start with and see how it goes on. It’ll be cool”
Do you think they would re-do “Cars”? I mean the song has already stood the test of time but I think it could use a little kick in the ass.
