RiO! Band of the Week – Solfege Radio
I am proud to announce that the title of RiO! Band of the Week has come back to New Jersey and belongs to the band Solfege Radio.
I realize that the Garden State is chock full o’ punk-pop bands but these kids are a slightly different case. By the way when I say kids I mean that in a literal sense. None of the members of SR are above the age of 18 yet their music sounds as if they’ve been playing for a good long while. It’s just a testament to the fact that good musicians can come from anywhere so long as they put their hearts into it. Okay enough with the sappy stuff.
These Jersey kids rock it out hard and I suggest you head over to their Myspace page to check out their music, pics and to see where they’re playing. They also have two singles out on iTunes that I’m sure they would love for you to buy.
