AC/DC releasing box set in a working amp

As a musician, it sucks when you have to buy equipment and you’re on a low budget. By low, of course, I mean almost non-existent. Especially when you have to cash in for a new amp. That’s just never any fun. But the band AC/DC is giving musicians and fans a bang for their buck with their brand new box set called Backtracks which comes out November 10th.

Within this set you get all sorts of goodies from the Aussie rockers. You get three CD’s featuring outtakes, rarities, live sets spanning from 1977 until 2000 and songs from the Australian versions of their releases. You also get the DVD Family Jewels 3 which has all their music videos from songs like “Big Gun” to “Rock N’ Roll Train”. Another DVD has their 2003 concert from Munich, Germany and you also get an audiophile LP featuring 12 studio rarities. And the best part? It all comes in a working amplifier!

However, if you want this treasure trove, you’ll have to pre-order it from . Only 50,000 of these will be made available for a reasonable cost of $199.00. So if you really want to put a smile on the face of the AC/DC fan in your family this holiday season then this may be the way to go.
