Animal Collective releasing new album?
Ya gotta give credit to the people over at Pitchfork. They do a lot of digging when other bloggers just don’t feel like it. And it’s because of Pitchfork I came across this lil gem.
Apparently Merriweather Post Pavilion isn’t the only recording we would see from the Baltimore band this year. It’s been discovered on Amazon that AC are planning on releasing a new record called Fall Be Kind. Now you could write off the Amazon page as a hoax…until you go to Domino Records website where the headline reads “…What’s the deal with Fall be Kind?” Lost Seinfeld joke or pre-cursor to a new album?
Also if you head over to the Amazon page, you can pre-order the album for $11.38 as it apparently will be released on December 8th of this year. Talk about an unexpected Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Festivus present.
