The Dead Weather have apparently decided that if once was nice why not do it twice? Up top you can see the second version of the video for their single “I Cut Like A Buffalo”. This one is significantly less involved than their first version of the video which is pretty damn good.

You get to see Jack White and the veil-clad belly dancer from the first vid “dance” together with strange movements in slow motion. Not really sure what to think of this one. I mean if you’re into strange videos then you’ll probably dig it. I’ll just stick with the first version.

However there is some solid news coming from TDW’s camp. Singer Alison Mosshart confirmed to the BBC (vis CoS) that the band’s sophomore album is halfway done.

“…I’m going to go back to [White's studio in] Nashville at some point. I think I’ll spend most of December in America and finish the second record. So there will be more,” said Mosshart. Very cool that the band is already working on the new album. Although I wonder if Jack will go back to the White Stripes when it’s done or just start a new band.
