Dost my eyes deceive me or will Axl Rose and his merry band of rockers actually be playing shows in North America? According to Ticketmaster (via CoS) they will indeed play shows in the great white north starting in January.

Guns N’ Roses will play shows in Canada starting on January 13th in Winnipeg, MB and will tour Canada and all of its snowy goodness until their final show on February 4th in Halifax. You can check out all of the tour dates down below. Pre-sales start this Wednesday. Excited yet?

So let’s see, if memory serves me correctly, GnR will play in India, Japan, Taiwan and now Canada. Is there a country that’s missing from this list that’s absolutely vital? I think it starts with a U and has three letters in its acronym and no it’s not the U.A.E. Come on Axl! We waited 17 years for you to give us a semi-decent album and now you’re gonna make us wait longer for you to play in America? Our patience is growing thin, Mr. Rose. Like Canadian ice thin.
