New Foo Fighters – Word Forward
The Foo Fighters are coming out with a greatest hits album on November 3rd called Greatest Hits. We’ve already heard one of the two new songs on the album, “Wheels”, and today we get the second new song from Dave Grohl and Co. called “Word Forward”.
Maybe it’s just me but these songs almost sound phoned in by Dave. It’s almost like he didn’t want to write new music for a greatest hits album but was obligated to so he took maybe 10 minutes out of his day and wrote both songs. “Wheels” at least sounds halfway decent but I’m not really liking this one. It’s a good thing Them Crooked Vultures are coming out with their album so I can listen to some good new Dave Grohl material this year.
The song is up top but it cuts off a bit early. I personally don’t think that’s a bad thing. What do you think of the song?
