New Spoon album out in January 2010

A band that I still think is quite underrated would be Spoon. Every time they come out with something new it’s usually right on the money. Good music, good lyrics and albums that have the ability to make you listen to them over and over. So I’m quite pumped that Spoon is coming out with a new album in January of 2010 called Transference.
The last LP that Spoon released was back in ’07 called Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. Since then the only new music from Spoon was the Got Nuffin EP which featured a few new songs to whet your whistle with. But it has been confirmed over at Pitchfork (via Stereogum) that the band will release their new album with 11 tracks on January 26th in the U.S.A. and on the 25th in Europe. The full tracklisting is below.
They’re also playing a New Years Eve show with Jay Reatard at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, WI. Maybe they’ll be Jay’s new band members.
Transference
01. Before Destruction
02. Is Love Forever?
03. The Mystery Zone
04. Who Makes Your Money
05. Written in Reverse
06. I Saw the Light
07. Trouble Comes Running
08. Goodnight Laura
09. Out Go the Lights
10. Got Nuffin
11. Nobody Gets Me But You
